    Gender Equality in Feminine Registers Used by Female Parents in Blitar: A Case Study of Local Wisdom of Addressing among Women with Respect to their Husbands’ Titles

    The theoretical framework used in the present form is Gender Construction in content analysis. The research observed two hundred selected female parents who have practiced mixed calling among male and female genders. The Data were collected using interviews and recordings carried out through online discussion during female parental activities of the home financial industry [PKK]. The analysis revealed that during the interaction among female parents, they addressed each other's name by mentioning their husbands' names for several reasons: 1) a lack of self-confidence which is influenced by their habits of always glorifying their husbands in all their activities, 2) Javanese culture in the city of Blitar still binds them, and It is complicated to get rid of it, 3) most of the mothers still have lower occupational education than their husbands, and 4) they are more respected by others if the husband's name is always attached to every activity

    Implementation of 128 bits Camellia Algorithm for Cryptography in Digital Image

    Nowadays information technology requires stronger cryptographic algorithms. Camellia algorithm is also known for its suitability in terms of the implementation of both software and hardware as well as a high level of safety. The digital image is an image f (x, y) which having the spatial coordinates, and brightness levels are discrete. Unlike text messages, the image data has special features such as high redundancy and a high correlation between pixels. This research conducted a cryptographic process of the digital image using the Camellia algorithm. Comparisons were made on three digital image format .bmp, .jpg, .png with 128 bits key block Camellia algorithm. Results shows that Camellia cryptographic algorithms in digital image can successfully produce encrypted images. In addition, the same algorithm can also reproduce the image when decryption process

    Teachers' Experience of Teaching and Online Learning Via WhatsApp as a Combination of Interactive English Learning media in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era of UNU Lab Elementary School Students in Blitar

    English learning in elementary schools should be engaging, interactive and fun so that students have an interest and motivation for learning especially in the current Covid-19 pandemic, but in reality, the learning patterns in SD Lab Blitar UNU still do not apply English learning patterns that are interactive and fun online because teachers have not affected the learning model that suits students' needs. They find it difficult to determine the right online media as a learning medium due to locations that do not support using the full online facility. The purpose of this study is that the authors intend to provide solutions in formulating exciting and interactive patterns of English teaching to all teachers and students during the co-19 pandemic under online learning conditions. The author uses a qualitative approach through the case study application and applies self-selection to select audiences and conduct online interviews to retrieve all data in the completeness of the study. The results revealed that Teachers' Experience of Teaching and Online Learning Via WhatsApp could create Interactive English Learning in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era, and the Combination can attract students' interest in learning online

Some farmers rely on the results of guava cultivation as the basis for the family's economy because the guava harvest is quite promising. However, in certain seasons, water guava plants are often attacked by various kinds of pest and disease season disturbances. So that it can reduce crop yields or even cause crop failure. To overcome this problem, fast and precise action is needed so that the guava plant is protected from various kinds of pests and diseases. The method of developing an expert system for disturbance in water guava plants is the best solution in order to identify disturbances in water guava plants as early as possible. The method used in this expert system is the certainty factor method. With this method, several experts are needed to provide data related to disturbances in water guava plants. The expert system for guava plant disorders is designed using a web-based PHP programming language.     Causing The Lecturers to Use Diagnostic Assessment to Find Out The Weaknesses of Students in Understanding Basic Reading in The Third Semester Students of Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Blitar

    This research is based on the still problematic confusion of basic reading lecturers to determine the weakness of students in understanding basic reading so that there are still a number of students who are completely weak in the analysis of discourse content and have not been detected clearly. Diagnostic assessment to find out the weaknesses of students in understanding basic reading in the third semester students of of Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Blitar is applied in this study. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. data collection technique in this study  is using interview technique. In this study, the source of the data is the third semester Basic Reading Lecturer at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Blitar. The results show that the strong desire of the third semester basic reading lecturers at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Blitar to use Diagnostic assessment resulted from several factors, namely: a) easy to understand student's ability in reading analysis, and b) easy factor to know the weaknesses of students in understanding reading. From the description above it can be concluded that Diagnostic assessment is an appropriate facility for lecturers to find out the weaknesses of students who are the top priority in learning outcomes

    Pengaruh Campuran Abu Sekam Padi terhadap Kuat Tekan Paving Block

    Rice husk is an abundant by-product of rice milling results, and so far only used as a fuel for combustion red stones, burning for cooking or thrown away. Rice husk ash (RHA) is a waste material of rice that has special properties. This material also contains chemical compounds that can be pozzolan, which contains silica (SiO2), a compound which, when mixed with cement and water can be used to enhance the compressive strength and tensile strength of concrete while silica is a chemical compound that is dominant in the rice husk ash. This study aimed to compare the results of the average compressive strength of the normal paving block with the added ingredient of rice husk ash, assess the effect of the addition of rice husk ash to the compressive strength and prices comparison between the paving block and normal paving block with the added ingredient of rice husk ash. In this study, rice husk ash serves as a replacement for cement additives with a variation of 0%, 30%, 35% and 40% by weight of cement in comparison 1pc: 10ps, 1pc: 13ps and 1pc: 15ps. The results showed that the paving blocks with a mixture of rice husk ash in comparison 1pc: 10ps produce optimum compressive strength with a mixture of rice husk ash 16.6% in the amount of 32.709 MPa. Furthermore in comparison 1pc: 13ps, paving block compressive strength values obtained with the optimal mix of rice husk ash rice 13.0% amounting to 23.709 MPa. Finally, in comparison 1pc: 15ps, paving block compressive strength values obtained with the optimal mix of rice husk ash 15.0% amounting to 17.260 MPa

    TPACK-based HOTS in Teaching Writing for Promoting EFL Learning Quality on Higher Education: Applying “Program Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka and Kurikulum Paradikma Baru”

    The purpose of the study is to describe the technology on TPACK-based HOTS applied by lecturers of a suburban university in teaching writing, and its challenge faced in-class interaction. Four English lecturers from Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Blitar in Indonesia are the participants selected using the purposive sampling design. The process of data collection uses depth interviewing through the online system. Data are analyzed using a "holistic" viewpoint in case study. The results revealed that simple technology dominates the general interactions when teaching writing. Some lecturers may only have a basic understanding of utilizing technology to teach writing. Even they still favour using manual teaching. Because the internet network is poor, few students have technology equipment like laptops, and the interaction is tedious because students are unfamiliar with the technology. It is better that the government, schools, the community, and the primary critical holders for learning must work together in determining policies in the face of changes to use technology in all aspects of school interaction
